This is a BMW LCM (Light Check Module) Programming and Coding Service. These Modules fail most of the time in your BMW, They Contain important information such as your Complete VIN Number (Serial number of your Car) and your Mileage.
If you buy a USED one you will face a problem of programming the USED LCM, This is because they are meant to only be programmed once, They will contain a different VIN number and contain different Mileage, They would also contain a Different Coding information. Such as Day running lights ( Canadian Buyers ) or Xenon lights etc. A tamper dot point will also be on your Instrument Cluster resulting an error.
If you go the your Local BMW dealer they still cannot program it for you, Because you must buy a brand new one for Over 700$, And they would require a 1 to 2 hours labor to program that New LCM.
We are proudly one of the few companies in North America that can program these LCM's even if they are USED, Buying a USED LCM for 80$ to 150$ (can be found on eBay) would be much cheaper than buying and programming a New One.
This is what are going to do, We will transfer the Correct VIN Number and the Correct Mileage into your Programed LCM. We will also program it with any special Retrofitting or Coding to your LCM, Such as Daylight Running Lights ( Canadian Buyers ) and Xenon lights etc.
Please note that the Mileage will be programmed based on what is on your Odometer in the Instrument Cluster. This is done for Security reasons. We do NOT add a specific mileage that you may tell us. We do not want to be responsible for Odometer Roll-backing.
So once you plug in the LCM that we programmed it will take whatever mileage that is stored in the Instrument Cluster or EWS and the Tamper dot will be turned of because the right VIN number now matches and the right Odometer now matches.
The information below explains the meaning for each Option :
1. Daytime Running Lights : This Feature is important mainly for Canadian buyers. If you have ordered a U.S car and are driving it in Canada it is by Law to have your Daylight running lights on. We can do this for you by checking this box.
2. Xenon Lights : This Feature is important to have, If your car came without Xenon Lights and you installed Xenon Light bulbs and the Amplifier without Coding the LCM Module, Then you will have an Error Code called "Check Front Lights". If you check this box we will code the LCM with Xenon Lights.
3. Tyre Pressure (RDC) : Please Only choose this option if your car is equipped with a Tyre pressure control in your system. If you choose this option and your car is NOT equipped with it then you will have an error in your dashboard screen
4. Air Suspension (EHC) : Please Only choose this option if your car is equipped with Air Suspension in your system. If you choose this option and your car is NOT equipped with it then you will have an error in your dashboard screen.
